This one-hour workshop does a deep dive into one of the most important EMDR Phases – Preparation.
After a review of the basics, we explore the most-asked question in this Phase – “How do I know if my client is ready to start EMDR?” We discuss this question theoretically, while also providing practical tools and ideas.

- This workshop is intended for licensed mental health therapists who have completed an EMDRIA approved basic training. Skill level: Beginner/Intermediate.
- Prerequisite for EMDRIA CEUs: Participants must have completed an EMDRIA Approved Basic training in EMDR (both Part I and Part II)
- Certificates are awarded online after completion of the workshop - Participants print their own certificate after registering at ce-classes.com, entering a keycode, and completing an evaluation form.
- Licensed Professionals should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval

Stacy Stoddard

Stacy Stoddard is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Certified EMDR Provider, and Approved EMDR Consultant and Trainer. She conducts EMDR trainings across the country.
Stacy graduated from John F. Kennedy University with a Master's in Counseling Psychology and holds a Master's degree from Yale University.
Stacy is the owner of The Counseling Center (www.towsoncounselingcenter.com) and founder of the Therapist Education Institute (www.therapisteducationinstitute.com). She is passionate about her work with individuals, couples, and adolescents.
