Course Description:
This training offers an in-depth look at utilizing the EMDR AIP model with the perinatal population. Focusing on the nuances of trauma, attachment and ethical considerations in the counseling setting. Clinicians will broaden their resources and the ability to conceptualize an effective treatment plan when working with this specific population.

Nina Davey
LCPC, ATR-BC, PMH-C, ACS, EMDRIA Approved Consultant
Nina Davey is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), a Registered, Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), and holds a certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). Nina has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
Nina is a Certified EMDR Therapist and an Approved EMDR Consultant. She uses a variety of treatment modalities through a trauma-informed perspective, including Art Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), EMDR, and Sand Tray Therapy.
Nina has extensive training in trauma (PTSD) and childhood abuse and has a particular interest working with women’s issues around Perinatal and Postpartum support. Nina is an Approved Credentialed Supervisor (ACS) for LGPC clinicians as well as an Approved Supervisor for Art Therapists.
