Course Description:

This one-hour video shows Stacy doing an EMDR session with a real client, Jane, who wants to work on a current work situation that is triggering past trauma. The video starts in Phase 3, and you will see the client move through Phase 4 with occasional cognitive interweaves to assist in the processing.

This is the third in a series of client demonstration videos. However, the first two videos (EMDR Preparation Phase: Explanation and Demonstration and EMDR Treatment Planning) are not prerequisites, as this is also a stand-alone complete demonstration of an EMDR session.

Additional Information:

  • This workshop is intended for licensed mental health therapists who have completed an EMDRIA approved basic training. Skill level: Beginner/Intermediate. 
  • Prerequisite for EMDRIA CEs: Participants must have completed an EMDRIA Approved Basic training in EMDR (both Part I and Part II)
  • Certificates are awarded online after completion of the workshop - Participants print their own certificate after registering at ce-classes.com, entering a keycode, and completing an evaluation form.
  • Licensed Professionals should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval
  • There is no known commercial support for this program.

Stacy Stoddard

LCMFT, EMDRIA Approved Trainer and Consultant


Stacy Stoddard is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Certified EMDR Provider, and Approved EMDR Consultant and Trainer. She conducts EMDR trainings across the country.

Stacy graduated from John F. Kennedy University with a Master's in Counseling Psychology and holds a Master's degree from Yale University.

Stacy is the owner of The Counseling Center (www.towsoncounselingcenter.com) and founder of the Therapist Education Institute (www.therapisteducationinstitute.com). She is passionate about her work with individuals, couples, and adolescents.
